distance Learning for all

Distance Learning

Three Rivers has a Distance Learning plan to support both the academic and social-emotional needs of all students while our buildings remain closed. Distance Learning aligns with guidance from the Oregon Department of Education and provides for blended learning strategies and access to educational materials through multiple modes, such as virtual classroom and paper learning guides. Information about specific Distance Learning plans are available from a child's teacher.

Distance Learning includes curriculum by grade level and subject matter that is designed to maintain instruction and academic engagement for students using computers, laptops, tablets, iPads or smartphones. As we transition to distance learning, Three Rivers School District will remain focused on the well-being of each student.

The following guidelines are for consideration, and should be adjusted as needed by educators, families, and others to meet the individual student’s needs. Suggested times do not need to be continuous; they may be chunked into shorter time frames as needed. It is recommended that students have ample time for brain breaks and stretching.
