Culture of Care (ACEs)
What is a Culture of Care? A Culture of Care includes awareness about childhood trauma and its impact on the brain and learning development. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have been proved through research to have lasting impact on a person's health, sometimes not until later in life. Three Rivers School District is committed to educate all staff and parents on ACEs, how trauma affects the brain, what it can mean for learning, and how we can build resiliency and foster hope in all students. We hope you find these resources helpful and if you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Jessica Durrant at jessica.durrant@threerivers.k12.or.us.
